More about the Forums
The Neighbourhood Forums are a constituent element of Ballymun Neighbourhood Council, which itself is a partnership of:
- five (5) Area Neighbourhood Forums
- Dublin City Council
- Ballymun Regeneration Ltd
- Garda Siochana
- The Health Service Executive, Northern Region
- The duly elected Councillors of the Ballymun Wards
- Dublin Northwest Constituency TDs
- Ballymun Partnership
Basically the Ballymun Neighbourhood Council acts as a forum to discuss and assist in formulating policy regarding the consultation process in relation to the Ballymun regeneration programme and good estate management practice.
The structures which govern the workings of the Ballymun Neighbourhood Council and in particular the Forums are contained within the Ballymun Neighbourhood Council-Neighbourhood Forums Constitution.
A critical element of this constitution is the process for electing local residents onto the Forums.
