The Axis Community Resource and Arts Centre opened its doors to the public on 29th June 2001.

Axis is a centre for excellence with the community at its heart. It houses a state-of-the-art 240 seat theatre, dance studio, gallery, arts and crafts workroom, music rehearsal rooms, recording studio, conference centre, office space and a café and events bar. It is also home to a range of highly active community development groups.

How to find us

axis is situated off the main Ballymun Road beside the new Civic Centre and is served by buses 13, 13A, 17A, 46X, 58X, 220, 103, 104. Secure parking is available to patrons. The building is accessible to those with disabilities.

Booking Ofice

Box office is open weekdays from 9am – 1pm, 2pm – 6pm and for 90 minutes. Discount rates are available to Friends Scheme members, students, the retired, unemployed and for group bookings.

All tickets booked by credit card must be collected 30 minutes before the event. Reservations can only be held for five days before they must be paid for in full, and can only be made for groups of 20+.

Friends Scheme

axis Arts Friends Scheme Membership costs €75 per annum and entitles you to benefits such as:
• 2 complimentary tickets to 3 different productions of your choice per annum (value €100).
• Concession rates on all events.
• Invitations to openings and special events.
• Priority booking for all performances.
• Acknowledgement on the axis website.
• A regular mailout of information on the forthcoming programme of events.

Various other offers will be notified to each member by letter with the programme of events to enable advance booking for the shows of your choice.
